Arvind Iyer ,a loving single father of an adopted beautiful daughter Shakti Iyer seemingly has a perfect happy family of two. Being a single parent his only dream is to find a perfect match for his daughter Shakti ,as he remained single due to family responsibilities. Shakti , a rebel girl, falls in love with Ranbir,goes through a break up. Shakti gets married to a southindian boy selected by her father from an online matrimony site and is waiting for her new journey as a wife. An unfortunate marriage involving marital rape and abuse explores the bond between father and daughter and their struggle against social norms.
